EQ Toon - Barb Shammy

I had already spent over a year working on EQ paintings, trying to translate the historic visuals of the game into something that looked more...real? That effort really demonstrated so much thoughtfulness in the original designs and details, but also managed to have an exaggerated, cartoon-like aspect to the characters. That "silhouette recognition" as someone put it was so well done.

So, for a few pieces, instead of trying to modernize or paint "realistic" looking players that I found, I went the other direction.

This was my first one, the barbarian shaman. For those that know, he's pretty decked out with some high level gear, but even this simpler version of the character showcases how easily recognizable the design makes the characters and classes.
